## earmark config

    earmark config [--show] [--path]

With no flags, opens the library's `earmark.toml` in `$EDITOR`, falling back to `$VISUAL`, then `nano`.


## Options

## `--show`

Prints, in order: the library, config, `text/`, feed, episodes, models and cache paths; then every setting with `(config)` or `(default)` marking where the value came from; then the `[feed]` keys and the `[replace]` pairs.

It is the fastest answer to "which library am I acting on?" and "where did the model actually go?".

If the config has errors, `--show` still prints everything (that is the whole point of it) and then exits `1`.


## Errors and warnings

Loading a config never fails. Problems are sorted into two kinds:

- **Warnings** are printed to stderr and the offending key is ignored: an unknown section, an unknown setting, an unknown `feed.` key, a `[replace]` that isn't a table.
- **Errors** stop the command that was about to use the settings, with `earmark: config problem in <path>:` and one line per problem.
